Ewa Chronowska

Founder, President
Ewa fulfills her mission to build cross-border bridges between investors and entrepreneurs in the CEE region. She is a Founder of CEE Business Angel Network, active entrepreneur and angel investor. She has 15 years of professional experience in corporate finance, financial and strategic consulting, business development and capital transactions gained among others as a Partner at Symfonie Capital managing Symfonie Angel Ventures Fund and at Capital Ventures where she has been providing business and financial support to early stage companies and SMEs. Ewa holds a Master’s Degree in Finance and Accounting from the Warsaw School of Economics.

Marcin Laczynski

Vice President
Marcin has 15 years of experience in business development, SME internationalization and capital transactions gained at international consulting firms such as T&M Consulting, Capital Ventures, and Octant. Numerous international business development projects executed in Europe and Asia enabled him to develop an extensive multi-sector background as well as a profound understanding of diverse business cultures. Throughout the years he gained in-depth insight into establishing and running businesses of cross-national DNA. Marcin holds a degree from the Warsaw School of Economics (Poland) and Umeå School of Business (Sweden).

Michael Sonenshine, CFA

Board Member
Michael has more than 25 years of investment experience gained among others at Credit Suisse and ING Bank. He was ranked among the top analysts in Institutional Investor, EuroMoney and Credit Magazine. Michael was a General Manager of ING Investment Management,Czech Republic where under his leadership ING managed approximately $250M and launched three investment funds. He is the Founding Partner at Symfonie Capital where he manages Symfonie Angel Ventures Fund and Symfonie Lending Fund. He holds an MBA from the William E. Simon School at the University of Rochester, where he specialised in Finance and Public Policy.

Magdalena Balcerzak

Magda is a start-up and innovation enthusiast. From the very beginning of her carrier connected with the SME market. - She worked as an analyst at Compensa and Capital Ventures, where she was responsible for research and financial and economic analysis. Dynamic, open-minded - and communicative person with the media relations experience gained as the spokesman of Mam Marzenie Foundation, - where she has been a volunteer. At CEEBAN responsible for management, supporting startups and funding process. - Magda holds a Master’s degree in Quantitative Methods in Economics and Information Systems from Warsaw School of Economics.
